EXAM PREPARATION TIPS
1.BE CONFIDENT. (No fear, don’t hate exam)

Students study well but there should be fear against exams Due to this reason they get disturbed and won't be able to study & score marks. First leave all your fears and make your mind free before starting the study. Be confident and it is the most essential power you should have for attaining victory.

2.Prepare a good time table.

Prepare a time table before starting the study. This should include all the subjects but may not be with equal priority. Tough subjects can be given more time and easier ones less but most importantly some time shall be allotted for entertainment and also there should be sufficient intervals between each subject. Select a proper atmosphere for studying.
Select a place where you feel comfortable. That is where you feel relaxed and can concentrate. And you have to make sure that while you are studying a subject you are concentrating on it only. So keep the books of other subjects away from your eyesight so that you won't be upset about the things you have to learn. And importantly it is better to study early morning when all the surroundings will be in silence and you can concentrate more. And one top secret Study facing east or more accurately North east. This will give you great positive energy and your marks will definitely increase.

3.Sit well

This is so important that you have to sit in proper manner while studying. Don't study on bed or lying on a chair instead sit straight. Keep your spinal cord straight. And try to place your legs parallel to ground, a little bit raised from the ground. Otherwise placing the legs on the ground causes ionization and induces sleep. And be alert that legs are not above the head level. This will affect the blood flow direction and causes sleepiness. It is better to place the legs almost parallel to ground but a little lower.

4.Make notes while studying

This is a very important point. While studying make small notes and that should not be descriptive make theme brief so that you can remember all points while doing revision with the help of that note. An ideal note shall include all important formulae and figures and also other important points. It will be a lot worth if you use this not for the revision in last one or two hours than u skipping through pages of your text book. It won't take much time to go through this note and if you feel tough anywhere you can refer for that portion in text book.

5.Sleep well and eat well.

You have to sleep well. Sleep deprivation study shows that Optimum hrs for sleep is 6hrs. Especially on the night before exam you have to sleep well, at least 6 hours and not more than 8 hrs. Remember this will have a great effect on your exam. And have your food as in your daily diet. Don't fast on exam day. This will have reverse effect, so please have food properly. There are some food items you have to avoid and some other you have to include in your diet on exam day.

6.Write and Present well.

The presentation is the major factor that affects your marks. Whatever you studied or prepared your marks will depend on how you present them in the answer sheet. The teachers may not be able to read all what you have written. Remember daily they are going through 30 to 40 papers. They will scan for points. So try to present answers in points. In essay questions don't forget to underline the important points.
Your hand writing also affects your marks. Try to write neatly. If it is not good enough, don't worry, if you presented it in a good manner you can score more marks. And another important factor to remember, as we all know 'First impression is the best impression'. So, answer the questions you know well, first. This will create a good impression on the evaluator and though you couldn't write some last answers well, that won't deduct your mark much. And care shall be taken so that you manage time well and is able to attend all questions. If there is any question out of syllabus, you just attend it. Usually full marks are awarded for such questions.

7.Never malpractice in exam hall.

Dear students never malpractice in exam hall as it may even affect your marks and also sometimes you won't be allowed to continue the exam. If you don't know answers don’t write. Keep in mind that you are writing exam for you, to prove yourself. There will be no problem if you have followed the above steps, For sure you can score good marks.

8.Believe in God, Believe in you.

The last but not the least point pray well before the exam and your mind should be free at least 5 minutes before exam. Pray can give immense energy and peace to your mind that will definitely do good for you. And it is much important that you are confident about what you can and will always produce pleasant result.
Also remember one thing please don't discuss soon after exams. This won't do good and may affect your coming exams. If your friends are discussing question paper avoid them and come to house soon.

EXAM Cell
1.DUTIES OF EXAM CELL

• The following are the duties and responsibilities of Examination Cell to conducts Internal Examinations as well as Board Examinations.

2.BOARD PRACTICAL EXAMINATION

• Receive Practical papers from DOTE and arrange
• Maintains stock register and note how many practical papers received from DOTE and how many used and the balance paper.
• Issue Hall tickets to the students.
• Nominal roll sent by DOTE is verified with the exam software to check the eligible student list.
• Practical panel send from DOTE is issued to the concern departments.
• Data sheet, order form, code cover, absentees form, signature statement and mark allocation which is received from DOTE is issued to the concern department.
• After valuation the mark obtained by the candidate is entered in the DOTE practical kit.
• Exam Cell maintains a file for staffs who comes from other colleges as an external and staffs that goes as internal to other colleges.
• Filled data sheet, order form, code cover, absentees form, signature statement and mark allocation is send to DOTE.

3.BOARD THEORY EXAMINATION

• Papers received from DOTE are arranged in serial number.
• Exam cell maintains a stock register and note how many booklets received from DOTE and how many used and the balance booklet.
• Hall plan for the respective exam is prepared by the exam cell.
• Nominal roll sent by DOTE is verified with the exam software to check the eligible candidate list.
• Attendance sheet with signature statement is prepared by the exam cell subject wise and collected from the concern hall within half an hour on the exam date.
• Exam Cell maintains a file for staffs who comes from other colleges as an external and staffs that goes as internal to other colleges.
• Arranging the answer sheet after completion of examination.
• The answer sheets will be sent to the DOTE on the respective date of exam.
• Necessary data books should be supplied to the exam hall to the concerned exam.

4.EXAM FEE

• A Circular send to the student mentioning last date for payment of exam with and without fine.
• A list is prepared for the students who pay the exam fees with fine and students who have not paid the exam fees and it is sent to DOTE by the exam cell.
• Additional nominal roll for the student who has not appeared for the previous semester, malpractice and readmission is prepared by the exam cell and sent to DOTE.
• The fees amount with fine in the nominal roll is updated by the exam cell and sent to DOTE.

5.MALPRACTICE

• Any student who has malpractice is booked.
• Number of students who have malpractice is sent to DOTE.
• Malpractice students answer sheet with the evidence is sent to DOTE.
• Malpractice booklet filled by the malpractice student sent to DOTE.

6.DUPLICATE HALL TICKET

• Duplicate hall ticket is issued to the student by paying amount in the office.
• The duplicate hall ticket is collected from the student by the exam cell on completion of each exam and after completion of all the exam the duplicate hall ticket will be sent to DOTE.

7.MARKSHEET ISSUING

• Checking the mark sheet department wise from the list sent from DOTE.
• Arranging the mark sheet received from DOTE register number wise.
• Issuing the mark sheet to the concern department.
• Remaining mark sheet that is available in the department is collected by the exam cell and arranged in an order.
• Various mark sheet of an individual student is kept together by the exam cell.
• Marksheet for the current student and the outgone student is issued by the exam cell.

8.DUPLICATE MARKSHEET

• Form for applying duplicate mark sheet is issued to the student.
• Filled form by the student is sent to DOTE by paying requisition fee to DOTE by DD.

9.REVALUATION

• Revaluation form is issued to the students from the exam cell.
• Filled revaluation form and the DD is sent to DOTE from exam cell.
• Xerox copy of answer sheet received from DOTE is issued to the student from the exam cell.
• The paper which is applied by the student is sent to DOTE.

10.COLLECTION OF NOTES AND MARKS

• A list is prepared and issued to all departments for collecting internal examination, model examination and assignment marks.
• All the notes and marks of internal examination, model examination and assignment marks is collected from the all the departments by the exam cell.

11.FOR CONSOLIDATED MARK SHEET

APPLYING • Form for applying consolidate mark sheet is issued to the student.
• All semester mark sheet, provisional certificate and diploma certificate is verified.
• Attested Xerox copy of all semester mark sheet, provisional certificate, diploma certificate and the form is sent to DOTE.
• Filled form by the student is sent to DOTE by paying requisition fee to DOTE by DD.

12.PROJECT SUBMISSION

• Batches for projects and titles are prepared by the respective department staffs.
• Get consolidated copy from the Department by the exam cell.
• Project review – I is conducted by the exam cell in which students select their project title. • Front page for the project report is prepared by the exam cell.
• Project review – II is conducted by the exam cell in which students explain about their project in front of committee members allotted by the exam cell. The committee members allotted by the exam cell are from various departments.
• The details of the individual project of a batch is send to the approval committee
• The project report of an individual student is maintained by the exam cell.
